The SBI Clerk Prelims Exam will held of an one-hour computer-based test having questions from Language English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning as per the format given syllabus. Total of 100 marks are allotted for the Clerk Prelims Test. The candidates have to qualify in the prelims exam to be able to appear for the Mains Exam.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 mark in the SBI Clerk Pre Exam. Candidates with 10 times the number of vacancies will be qualified in the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam and will be called for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam. There will be no sectional cutoff in SBI Clerk Prelims as well as SBI Clerk PO Mains Exam.
